MOU concluded with Thai Society of Clinical Oncology (TSCO)

In Japanese

The National Cancer Center Hospital(NCCH) signed a memorandum of understanding on 28 April 2021 at an online signing ceremony with the Thai Society of Clinical Oncology (TSCO). TSCO is a non-profit institution established in 1996 for the purpose of educating cancer medical personnel and preventive workers at the cancer centers of major university hospitals in Thailand. Their membership encompasses not only university affiliated hospitals but also hospitals under the auspices of the Ministry of Public Health.

As the guest of honour, HE Ambassador Mr Singtong Lapisatepun of the Royal Thai Embassy in Tokyo witnessed the ceremony. Dr Jinda Rojanametin, Director of the National Cancer Institute Thailand and Dr Kazunori Umeki, Senior Coordinator for Global Health, from the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare Japan also joined the occasion.

NCCH is establishing its Asian Partnerships Office in Bangkok later this year as a springboard for our ATLAS (Asian clinical TriaLs network for cAncerS) project in the Asian region. This new agreement will strengthen our ties with our partners and further develop the ATLAS project.
