WHO Regional Director for Western Pacific visited

The Honorable Dr Saia Ma'u Piukala, WHO's Regional Director for the Western Pacific, visited us on 28 February. The Regional Director, who is also a surgeon, inquired about our hospital's medical safety and surgical initiatives, the development of the international clinical research network, and cancer control measures in Japan. They agreed to mutually promote collaboration in the field of cancer in the future. We will continue to enhance our cooperation in the Western Pacific region.
