miRNA-34a
1. Upregulated after exposure to the DNA-damaging agent, adriamycin
2. Regulated by p53 (Fig. 1)
3. Induces senescence-like cell cycle arrest when over-expressed (Fig. 2)
4. Downregulates the E2F pathway
5. Upregulates p53 and downstream target, p21
6. Suppresses tumor cell growth in vivo (Fig. 3)
7. Downregulated in human colon cancers(~ 36%)
