Research Activities

The Tumor Endocrinology Project aims at the development of new tools for tumor prevention, diagnosis and treatment by elucidating the effects of endocrine environment on carcinogenesis as well as the effects of tumor-derived substances on the pathophysiology of the patients. Functional analysis of nuclear receptor-type transcription factors in tumors, development of a new DNA test for familial neoplasia syndromes and studies on oncogenesis of endocrine tumors are being conducted.
