Research Activities

This division is focusing research activities on the development of new methods for diagnosis and treatment of familial cancer syndromes. The genotype-phenotype correlation in multiple endocrine neoplasia type 1 is under investigation. Genetic and epigenetic factors influencing clinically important phenotypes of sporadic endocrine tumors are also being investigated.
