Recent evidence indicates that establishment of cancer stem cells is a critical step of the carcinogenic process. Cancer stem cells are thought to be an attractive molecular target of radical cancer therapy. Our long-term goal is to decipher the mechanisms that establish and maintain the cancer stem cells and is to develop a novel approach targeting cancer stem cells.Research Projects
