Bioinformatics support for other divisions and laboratories
The emergence of high-throughput experimental technologies such as the next-generation sequencer has produced large volumes of data in cancer research. However, those who can analyze such data – bioinformaticians – are in short supply. Our department provides bioinformatics support for other laboratories at the National Cancer Center and other institutions. For example, we provide bioinformatics analysis for those projects of International Cancer Genome Consortium that are performed by the Division of Cancer Genomics at the National Cancer Center.
