Press Release:Signing MOU with Mass General Hospital

National Cancer Center (President: Dr. Tomomitsu Hotta, Location: Chuo-ku, Tokyo, abbreviated as NCC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center in the United States of America (abbreviated as Mass General, Location: Boston, Massachusetts, USA)

Following a signed MOU with National Cancer Institute in the USA, this is the second MOU for NCC with an US institution.

The primary objectives of the MOU are academic collaborations in cancer care and research, best practice exchange, and staff exchanges. As the first project, the NCC will participate in a cancer nursing exchange program where nurses will spend time learning about chemotherapy administration, cancer practices, and inpatient cancer care.The NCC nurses will also learn about the Mass General Cancer Center processes for quality and safety and protocol development.
