Application Process

Plan your visit, and submit your inquiry 6-12 months before the desired start date.
Submit formal application
When cleared, you will receive a URL link for uploading your application.
Submit the required documents at least 3-6 months before the start date to ensure acceptance.
- If a Japanese visa is required, you are encouraged to apply up to one year ahead.

Upon authorization
You will receive an email message with an invitation letter.
- VISA applicants will also receive another letter addressed to the Japanese embassy/consulate for VISA application.
- Read through the information(pdf:188KB) for preparation. When you obtain your VISA, inform your contact person at NCC.
Prepare for travel
You will be informed about the meeting point/time a few weeks before your observership visit starts.
