Doctors of the Endoscopy Center at National Cancer Center Hospital have been listed as "Expert in Endoscopic Mucosal Resection: Worldwide"(Link to External Site) by Expertscape, a website that compiles data on research activity from biomedical papers and ranks researchers.

Expertscape evaluated papers on 29,000 biomedical topics published in PubMed, a site operated by the U.S. National Library of Medicine (NLM), from 2011 to 2021.

We are one of the 20 Centers of Excellence designated by the World Endoscopy Organization (WEO), the second such in Japan. As a core facility of JCOG, a multicenter clinical trial group, we conduct many clinical trials every day to develop new treatments for cancer patients. Our staff lecture and demonstrate to audiences worldwide to towards improving endoscopic techniques.
