Division of Medical Informatics

Introduction

 The Division of Medical Informatics was launched in 2017, and our commitment is to support daily medical practice by maintaining, updating, and improving medical information systems accordingly (especially electronic health record) through close cooperation with vendors.

 We also serve as advisors for medical professionals and researchers with regard to appropriate utilization of medical information in clinical practice and on-site R&D.

Our team and what we do

  • We maintain, update, and improve medical information systems (collaborative work with the IT Integrating and Support Center (ITISC), Medical Information Management Office, and Help Desk).
  • We advise medical professionals and researchers with regard to appropriate utilization of medical information (collaborative work with the ITISC and Medical Information Management Office).
  • We participate in system-related and medical record management committees.
  • We participate in activities toward medical information system renewal in 2020.

Future prospects

  • We will improve and install medical information systems (including associated systems and devices) for efficient clinical workflows.
  • We will renew medical information systems successfully in 2020.
