Introduction and Future prospects

 The Ethical Review Support Section operates the Institutional Review Board (IRB) based on the Clinical Trials Act. The IRB of the National Cancer Center Hospital East (NCCHE) was certified on March 31, 2018 by the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW) as an IRB as set forth in the Clinical Trials Act (hereinafter referred to as "CRB"). We operated the CRB conference as the secretariat consisting of the CRBs. We keep deliberating and improving the appropriate and effective method of the review process as the NCCHE - Ethical Review Support Section which undertakes the review work.
