In July 2018, nine third graduating class students enrolled in the programme, and are presently taking the course.

3. Cancer radiation therapy nursing

In October 2017, we were authorized by the Japanese Nursing Association as a certified nursing educational institution for radiation therapy nursing.

In October 2018, ten students of the second graduating class took the examination, and all of them passed.

Future prospects

We will support the 108 graduates who have passed the examination to enable them to provide a high level of nursing care using skilled nursing techniques and contribute to improvement in nursing care techniques at each facility by practising, teaching, and consulting. Meanwhile, the policy of reconstructing certified nursing education in association with specific action training was launched by the Japanese Nursing Association. We will improve the education curriculum and reconsider ways for career support so that a certified curriculum, including training in nurse-designated procedures, can be developed.
