Certified Nurse Curriculum

Curriculum for certified nurse

1. Palliative care nursing

 The 2021 certified nurse education curriculum in palliative care nursing was cancelled.

2. Cancer chemotherapy nursing

 In March 2021, seven students who completed the curriculum passed the Japanese Nursing Association qualification examination. Since the start of the education curriculum in 2016, 36 nurses have been certified in cancer chemotherapy nursing. 14 students were enrolled in this course in September 2021, and 14 students completed it in March 2022.

3. Cancer radiation therapy nursing

 In March 2020, two students who completed the curriculum passed the Japanese Nursing Association qualification examination. Since the start of the education curriculum in 2018, 23 nurses have been certified in cancer radiation therapy nursing. The 2021 certified nurse education curriculum in cancer radiation therapy nursing was cancelled.

4. Follow-up training

 Follow-up training was canceled due to the spread of COVID-19 infection.

Future Prospects

 We will support the 150 certified nurses in those three fields to enable them to contribute to improving the quality of nursing at each institution as they provide high-level nursing by using their outstanding nursing skills as well as playing roles in practice, guidance, and consultation.
