Review fee (C-CAT Data Utilization Review Board)

• There is no charge for an application or review by the C-CAT Data Utilization Board. 

Fee for the Number-of-Records Search

• The access and search at the Number-of-Records Search portal site is free of charge. However, a simple registration is required by entering your e-mail address (free personal e-mail address such as Gmail or iCloud mail is not acceptable), country/region and the types of your affiliation.

Fee for the C-CAT Research-Use Portal site 

Hospitals for Cancer Genomic, Medicine

• Members of the Hospitals for Cancer Genomic Medicine can use the C-CAT Research-Use Portal site for free. However, researchers of collaborating companies need to pay the fee, even if they are participating in the same research project as the members of the Hospitals for Cancer Genomic Medicine.

Industries

• For researchers of commercial companies, etc., the C-CAT Research-Use Portal site is available for the annual fee of 7.8 million yen (including tax).

Research Institutes

• Access to the C-CAT Research-Use Portal site is free for the researches conducted by the investigators in the academic sector and supported by public research grants, which are operated based on the national policies/criteria, such as grants by AMED, Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. For types of researches other than those described above, the researchers in the academia are requested to pay the fee.
• Researchers of collaborating companies need to pay the fee, even if they are participating in the same research project as the researchers in the academia.
